I've been playing here for over a decade and reslly appreciate the upgrades they have made lately. The clubhouse looks great and it feels much more welcoming and fun to be there before the round or at the turn. The changes to the tee boxes have beena really nice addition and the new bridges make the course flow much better. The one and only drawback is no actual driving range or chipping area. But the new simulators are a really nice add on.

Had a great experience at Thornapple Golf Course. The course was in excellent condition, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Nathan was especially helpful and awesome when checking me in. He made the process quick and easy and provided great customer service. Looking forward to coming back and playing again soon!

I recently played a round here and had a great experience. The course was in great condition, the greens rolled well, and the layout was both fun and challenging. I also want to say thanks to Avery who works here. He helped make the whole experience easy from start to finish. He was knowledgeable, professional, and made sure everything ran smoothly so I could just focus on enjoying the day. You can tell he genuinely cares about the golfers and the overall experience.

First time playing out at Thorn Apple Country Club in a couple years, You can really tell with all the upgrades the place has unlimited potential. The clubhouse looks amazing, new carts are a big upgrade, and adding another set a tees more suitable for everyone. The course and greens were in phenomenal shape and definitely one of my favorites around town. The staff and service were top notch as well. I Couldn’t have been more happy with my experience.

I’ve played Thorn Apple several times over the past year, and every visit gets better. The new ownership has clearly invested a lot into the course, and it shows everywhere you look. Each time I come back, there are noticeable improvements, and it’s obvious the entire team takes real pride in the place. For this early in the season, the course conditions were outstanding. The fairways are in great shape, and the greens rolled true and consistent… better than many courses I’ve played mid-season. It’s quickly become one of the top public courses I look forward to playing when I’m in Ohio. They’ve also added some great upgrades beyond the course itself. The new simulators are a fantastic touch. They are perfect for warming up before a round or dialing things in. The renovated bathrooms are clean, modern, and even include a shower, which is a really nice bonus. The staff deserves a shoutout as well… friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful from start to finish. And one small but awesome detail… their golf balls are priced better than anywhere else I’ve seen at a course, which is a nice perk if you need to stock up before your round.
